31 October 2008: Changes to HUI0331

The reconciliation manager wishes to advise participants of a change to the HUI0331 NSP. As at 1 December 2008, the following will be in place:

Existing POC: HUI0331 POCO GN
Flow Direction: X
End Date: 30 November 2008

New POC: HUI0331 POCO GN
Flow Direction: X and I
Start Date: 1 December 2008

It is understood that the level of embedded generation behind the Huirangi GXP is increasing around the middle of December 2008.


29 October 2008: New Connection to the Grid

The reconciliation manager wishes to advise participants of changes to the grid as notified by the Grid Owner. As at 1 December 2008, the following new GXPs will exist:

POC: WWD1102 MERI GD
Flow Direction: X
Start Date: 1 December 2008

POC: WWD1103 MERI GD
Flow Direction: X
Start Date: 1 December 2008

These are West Wind, Meridians new wind farm located near Makara (West of Wellington) and connecting to the Transpower Grid between CPK and WIL. These GXPs will become GIPs at a later date (estimated March 2009). Meridian has undertaken to provide at least 1 months notice of this future change.


01 September 2008: Network Changes

The reconciliation manager wishes to advise participants of changes to the WAIK and POCO networks. As at 1 September 2008, the following embedded networks will no longer exist:

POC: ELD0111 WAIK EN
End Date: 31 August 2008

POC: LYN0111 WAIK EN
End Date: 31 August 2008

All ICPs currently against these embedded networks in the registry will be moved to the following NSP:

POC: TGA0331 POCO GN
Start Date: 1 September 2008

All participants will need to revise any trade notifications where they have ICPs on either of the two embedded networks.


29 August 2008: New Connection to an Additional Network Company at an Existing GXP

The reconciliation manager wishes to advise participants of changes to the grid. As at 1 October 2008, the following connection will exist:

POC: FKN0331 LLNW GN
Flow Direction: X
Date Supplied From: 1 October 2008

This is a new connection to an additional network company at an existing GXP. The existing network, DUNE, remains unchanged. LLNW refers to Lakeland Network. The date is a convenient time to begin data provision but the actual date of livening is likely to be later than this.


21 August 2008: New Embedded Network

The reconciliation manager wishes to advise participants of a new embedded network. As at 1 September 2008, the following will be set up for Brookfield Multiplex Funds Management Ltd:

Name: South City Shopping Centre, 555 Colombo St, Christchurch
Parent NSP: ADD0661 ORON GN
Start Date: Monday 1 September 2008

The embedded network is to be globally reconciled
